In Your Home Physio

We come to you, so you don't have to come to us. With Goodyear Physiotherapy Home Therapy, all of the services offered in our clinic can be provided to you in the comfort of your own home.

If you are unable to travel, or simply appreciate the convenience of being treated in your home, home therapy is a great alternative to visiting us in our clinic. Initial assessments and appointments for ongoing care and treatment of acute injuries or conditions can be provided. Request a home therapy appointment today.

We currently offer in-home services to our clients located in Newmarket, Aurora, King City, Nobleton, Kleinburg, Ballantrae, Stouffville North, North Richmond Hill, Schomberg, Tottenham, Beeton, Alliston, Cookstown and Bradford.

When visiting your home, your therapist will bring everything they need to provide you with a personalized treatment.

Virtual physiotherapy or tele-rehabilitation provides an option for assessments and treatments when you can’t access in-person services like during a pandemic where physical distancing measures are in place.

This type of physiotherapy can be very effective and can simply be done with a computer, tablet or smart-phone. Most Insurance companies cover tele-rehabilitation services and a physician’s referral is not necessary due to COVID-19. Patients should be in touch with their insurance provider to confirm their eligibility and coverage details as policy variations exist even within a single large insurance provider.

In addition to these EHB insurers the WSIB also covers virtual care.

Services that a physiotherapist can provide virtually include:

·       Assess how you are doing in daily activities and making recommendations for adaptations

·        Prescribe, teach, and progress individualized exercise programs

·        Use of modalities and home exercise tools like TENS (electrical stimulation), heat/cold, percussion massage gun, resistance bands, & more

·        Help you perform self techniques such as mobilizations and soft tissue releases

·        Support, educate, coach and reassure you understand your condition and treatment plan
